Interpretation

The artwork caught my attention through the depiction of multiple desktop interfaces nested within one another. Each screen in the artwork features desktop.html, and as the screens decrease in size, they begin to blur. Where this detail creates two interpretations of this piece.

The first interpretation highlights the interconnected nature of the Internet, showing how it functions as a collaborative platform for individuals to access and share information. It emphasizes how creations/sites on the internet are accessible to every individual, and every desktop is connected through this network.

The second interpretation related to the blurring effect on each screen. It emphasizes how each individual has the ability to manipulate and inspect the code or content of any website, allowing them to create new sites or alter existing ones. This allows individuals to either customize existing websites or replicate them, gradually obscuring the original HTML code as it undergoes modification or replication.
